This article from Ben Thompson is eye opening about his interaction with Micorsoft’s AI Bing/Sydney. “This sounds hyperbolic, but I feel like I had the most surprising and mind-blowing computer experience of my life today.”

An insightful post on why M&A, especially distressed M&A is so hard to do right now in cannabis. Here is one big problem: “In nearly all US jurisdictions, a commercial cannabis license may not be transferred as a separate asset (I think Nevada is the only state that allows it, but, as you should know by now, this is not legal advice) - the entity that owns the license needs to be sold instead. The buyer can’t just cherry pick assets.”
I absolutely loved this Invest Like the Best podcast with Coatue Ventures’s Dan Rose. I especially loved his story about how the Kindle was created on Amazon and the initial hard to hear feedback Sheryl Sandberg gave him at Facebook.
Another interesting podcast was this one with Seth Yakatan about the similarities between early biotech and the cannabis industry. Really fascinating interview.
