Cannabis links:
We are in the midst of a horrific opioid crisis. A new study shows that after legalization of cannabis, opioid usage falls 26% in the short term and after four years falls 37%! When you ask yourself who is against cannabis legalization, its not hard to guess who.

“Lasseter, of the visitors bureau, estimated that Humboldt County is on track to lose 50% to 70% of its cannabis farms.” Supply continues to be taken out of the California market. This is supportive of higher prices, which I wrote about here.

New York is really struggling to rollout adult sales and has a thriving illicit market. That is why it is really interesting to watch this law requiring requiring reimbursement for medicinal cannabis work its way through the New York Senate. It is proposed to go into effect on April 1 and in my humble opinion would be an amazing way to stand up the legal industry immediately. Who doesn’t like free or $5 “co-pay” weed.
